Strut rod problem

Good morning A body lovers.... I am rebuilding the front suspension on my 68 barracuda, I have everything torn apart, cleaned blasted and painted. Some one in a previous life replaced one of the strud rods with a 73 and up bar, I am looking for a 67-72 strut rod to match the other side.. does anyone have one for sale or wanting to trade for my 73.. it is in great condition, blasted painted. Thanks for looking

if you cant find a suitable swap can't you just use the correct bushings for each rod by year?

Yes I probably could Dana, I was just hoping to keep it the same. I bought a complete rebuild kit and would like to use it if possible... I had a buddy tear the K member apart while I worked on frame, he didn't take pictures and it appears there is an extra bushing.. has me nervous lol

I think the later style strut rods and bushings are an improvement anyway. They have that metal sleeve that keeps the bushings from tearing.

No problem, wish I could help you out but I think the only spare strut I have kicking around is a 69 B body one.
