Stuck Valve

I have 2 stuck valves on a 71 318 engine , any suggestion on free-ing them.

Dribble diesel fuel down the stems.

PB Blaster, small hammer, big flat tip screw driver or small prybar.

Are you sure they're just stuck, or did they get bent?

When I was helping Matt last year, we had like a 59 Ford truck come in with a skip. It had a valve stuck open and I did exactly as you described and freed it up and got it running good. We were ready to pull the head(s) off if needed but we didn't have to.

Time to get the gooey gas out of the tank and lines.

Just be sure that the piston is not right under it

UP DATE

soak the 2 valve last night twice with PB Blaster, This morning took my heat gun and heated them up and more PB , and they came back.. and seem to be working ok with the intake off.,will reassemble later today.
