stupid dash ?..

alright fellas. im starting to pull the dash out to paint it.. first snag.. how do i get the headlight switch out without snapping it off? the wiper just pulled out.. easy enough.. any help?

I know on my light switch, there is a small button on the rear of the switch by where the wiring plugs in. You have to push in the button, then you'll be able to pull out the knob.

Hey Nately did you get the dash out? If not pull the elec plug from the headlight switch, that will let it come out far enough to get to the speedo cable and dash plug on the back.
There is a rod run coming up the 9th of Aug in Beaumont, hopping to come down for it.Maybe see ya there

thanks alot 71 and bw. i ended up thinkin about it . after i pulled the plug and got it all out... bored i guess and wanted to tinker with it. but i don't have the money to pay for the resto on the guages anyway... lol
