I recently got a 64 dart 270 convertable. thinking of putting a V8 in it.. do i need to stregthen the chassis. will a early 70s drive train work? maybe a 340 -360 with auto trans. all input welcome.

Subframe connectors will make any a-body a better car….. Regardless of body style or engine.

Welcome to FABO! I would put a set in. They will only help and are a good thing to have. Yes you can swap in a 318 or 340 or 360 or 383, 400 440. Sky is the limit. Good luck on your build.
