I have a 1968 Barracuda with a stroked 340. I want to add a fuel gauge and regulator. I've attached several pictures of the current fuel line configuration. It currently has a mechanical pump.

What fuel regulators and fuel gauges are you guys using?

Are any of you running mechanical pumps and not having fuel "boiling" issues? When I let the car sit for about 45 minutes or so after driving it, the fuel shoots out of the carb vent tubes right after I start it. I'm going to try and re-route the fuel line away from the block and use a regulator. I just want some ideas on how to do it in an intelligent manner. I also want it to be clean, just like my car :glasses7:

I'm considering the following:

A friend suggested I use something that will interface with my current AN fittings; but I'm not sure what. He suggested I put the fuel gauge at the end of the fuel line, where it T's off and goes into the secondary bowl.

Oh, is that basic fuel filter good enough or should I consider something else?

Any advice will be appreciated. Pictures tell a thousands words!

Thanks!

Jon
