So as some of you know I installed my motor over the weekend and the trans isn't ready yet.

I have a block of wood under the oil pan on a jack stand supporting the motor now, but I want to be able to roll the car out of the garage, what's the best way to support the motor so it can move on it's wheels?

I've used a block of wood across the torsion bar's and let the engine rest on it with good results.

Thanks everyone, the steering and suspension is what I am working on now, so this is perfect.

I've used padding, 2 wood blocks on the inner fender lips, where the bolts go thru, used a bar or length of 2 x 4, and hang the back of the motor from it, with chain.
There is a shop tool avail to do same.
