I have a Duster with the stock 318 (aftermarket headers, intake, and carb though) and I think it'd be nice to spin both tires when I want to lay down some rubber rather than just one. I was wondering if I should go with the Dana Power-Lok or the Borg Warner sure-grip/whether or not it is even necessary. The Duster is just a fun daily driver, but I like to put Mustangs in their place from time to time. I've been doing my research, but need opinions from those who have them.

If you are budget minded, I think a stock sure-grip unit would work fine. What rear end is in it? I have 8 3/4 that had stock sure-grip clutch type unit and i was running mid to low 12s with m/t street e/ts. But when I put the INDY 415. I went to a spool and 35 spline moser axles, how ever its mostly race than street---- but the spool works fine on the street.

i agree a sure grip is sufficient for what you describe, they are dependable and fairly available at a fair price. I have never killed one either
