I have been a member to A Bodies for 12 years. And, I wanted to mention that I will be at the Syracuse Nationals next week. I was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Syracuse, N.Y., yes I am a country boy, if anyone is attending and needs my help, please let me know! I can meet with you and possibly steer you in the right direction, for places to eat, where to get some repair or parts help. You never know when something might go wrong and need advice on whom is good and honest with classic car repairs. I can even tell you about some good fishing spots, or campgrounds. I'm in the Horticulture building. It was a last minute deal as I wasn't planning on doing anything more than spectating. But the opportunity came up and being out of the sun (and rain) sounded really good.

I have another obligation today, so I won't be there, but I will be there tomorrow.

I'm in the group with my late buddy Dave's car. His son owns it now. It was the A12 car that Graveyard Cars restored. It's parked next to my old A12 Roadrunner that a friend owns now. We realized when Dave Jr drove it in that these cars were last parked together at least 35 years ago.

That is quite a nice story! Thank you for sharing. I am skipping today due to the constant rain. My wife did a little surprise behind me and my son's back. Here is the deal, we lost our 1964 Dodge Dart GT in a rear end crash on March 29th. We wanted to take the car to the Syracuse Nationals this year. Both of my sons, 13 and 9 were devastated that the car was destroyed beyond our ability to revive. And, the insurance company wanted too much cash to buy it back. I looked high and low for a car in similar condition, after working on our red GT for 12 years. I found a non Mopar car that I just could not turn down for $13,000. I believe the car is worth between $25,000 and $30,000, yes we scored a great deal! The car needed quite a few minor repairs which my 13 year old son worked on tirelessly while I was working at the Veterans Hospital. He worked on the car every day while maintaining high honor roll status during part time pandemic classes. Not only did he receive a school award for honor roll during his entire 3 years at middle school, he received the Presidential Academic Award, and the Director's Award for band! My wife contacted a local reporter about his love of our car and wants to cover a story about my son at the Syracuse Nationals!

Here is our new car, I hope you Mopar guys do not get offended with this '64 Ford!

Dave Sr. Was quite the Mopar expert. It’s great to see that Jr. has had his car restored.

Big John, saw the cars Friday. They looked great! Some history there! Looked around didn’t see you. M Wells.
