Tail light lens

For 69 Cuda: my driver side brake light lens has a small section broken off (at the base) can you buy a lens? if so from whom or is the lens part of the tail light assemble? I am just a brake bleed off from getting the car registered and I'm worried that they might knock it back when I go for the blue slip because of it.

MEXICO! I CANT REMEMBER THE name of the site but if u look through fmj bodies ull see the thread from a member buying a grille from them
 
YO, you can get one at CLASSIC IND. there prices are pretty good, they sell a lot of parts for 69 cudas good luck

Watch out for repop lenses. A lot are made in silicone molds and they do not fit in the housings with the precision of an injected molded NOS lens. There will be gaps around the edges in areas. You may have to sand the lenses to get a good fit and no light leakage.

I tried two sets from Laysons and returned them due to this problem.

That was a few years ago so they may have improved the process...just be careful and if you can find a solid NOS lens for a fair price that would be the way to go.

Mothers polish and elbow grease will make them look like new fyi.
