Taillight question

If i wanted to put 65 barracuda taillights on a 64 valiant, aside from expanding the little rectanngle backup lamp opening to a slightly larger round one, will it fit? or do tey just not line up?

Might work, easier than changing the dash cluster.
Sounds like you want a 1965 car. ;)

Don't forget you will need the Lenses, And the housing.

Nah, I like the interior and pushbutton on the 64. Just not that much of a purist, unless its a rare or specialty car. Its ist just another \6 valiant I dont have problems franken-carring it.

my primary concern is that curve on the round side. would it line up or create a gap.. I need to find someone local and just hold one up there and look.

I have a '64 Valiant with a bad 1/4 panel. I managed to cut a good one off a '65 car and I know it will need some extra patching to make it work around the rear light. So if I have to patch, you will need to cut but it should fit right in after cutting.
