TC for a 727

I have a question for the Tranny gurus out there,

Can you use a High Stall TC for a 904 in a 727? If so, what are the advantages or disadvantages? The only visual difference appears to be the overall size 10" compared to an 11" and the different flex plate. Thank you for any information.

i think they are 2 different splines.......count them to see.

904 and 727 convertors are not interchangable

Yes u can, no problem at all...... unless there r weights to remove or add on or u could simply get a B+M weighted flexplate...kim..........

count the splines, either 19 or 24, if they are the same number of splines they are inter-changable. make sure they are not for a lock-up as well.

I had the converter for a project that I never finished, brand new in the box. It fits on the tranny, same splines and all. I was just wondering if there is an advantage or disadvantage to using it. Thank you for the replys.
