This one is a bit unusual, since it doesn't go to my A-Bodies. This request is for my '84 D50 (the first truck I ever owned, still have it)

Originally a 2.6L 4-Cylinder Gas truck, then a 2.5L Intercooled Turbo Diesel truck.... Now a 273 Small Block truck (future Turbo 273 Small Block truck. Small block will the last and only type of engine to go in this truck)

I removed the original Tach from the cluster years ago to swap in a rare factory Diesel Tach, the needle got broken off of the original gas tach and it's for a 4-banger. Sooo I'd like to swap the guts from an Aftermarket tach (Sunpro, Autometer, etc) into my original tach face place.

Anybody have tips or suggestions for dismantling a tach and removing the needle (without breaking it).

Here's the Tach in question

The non functional (truck never had the sensors/wiring) Fasten Seat Belts socket looks like a great place for a concealed Shift Light :D
