In the doghouse
 I finally figured a way to get the texture on my 69 Swinger"s dash.
1-pre,then paint dash semi-gloss black.(yes, this is for black dashes)
2-lightly mist on some castblast or equivelant, from about 16-20 inches away.Very lightly with this, you only need a bit.If you put too much on,you can cover it slowly.
3-now,lightly mist on some more semi-gloss black until desired texture is achieved.
I practised on a piece of sheet metal, until I perfected the finish. It's really not that hard to do.The biggest trick,is to use new spray cans,to minimize the chance of spitting.
Does anyone maybe have a better way also?I love to hear about techniques used by enthusiasts to restore their cars.
