Jimi was RIGHT HANDED.

He played guitar left handed.....

I understand he played a right handed guitar left handed. Don't know if he reversed the strings or played it like upside down. What do you know on that ?

On a right handed guitar the base string is on top, when you flip it over it puts the base string on the bottom. Most left handed players re-string their guitars to play left-handed....some don't. I pretty sure Jimi re-strung his guitar putting the base string on top.
 
I saw one his old friends and a member of “The Jimi Hendrix Experience” on PBS. He said Jimi did not restring the guitars. He just flipped them over and played- that was the way he learned.
 
My daughter is left handed but she shoots hoops right handed. She bowls left handed, eats left handed and draws left handed. She throws a ball right handed. She blames me for being all mixed up???
 
I just watched a video of purple haze. Pretty obvious it was re-strung.

My
dad did that to my sister. Tried to make her left handed. She is a lot like your daughter.
 
Without a doubt 100% restrung his guitar with bass strings on top like normal.
I am more than positive on this.

I'm sure that "Cynthia Plaster Caster" would know how he strung his guitar????:eek:

Did some surfing on this, and I am starting to think he played “flipped over” and “restrung.” Had so much talent it did not matter, as long as he got the sound he was wanting.
 
It's easier to play those high pitched riffs that everyone likes from the bottom of the fret board. It was probably part of his unique sound having the pick-up closer to the top string and farther from the bottom string.

You and I are a lot alike. I write and eat left handed, throw with either hand but better with my right, bat from either side but better from the left, weld with either hand (welding instructor) but weld majority of the time right handed, most of my students seem to be right handed with the occasional lefty and then with one on one instruction I'll weld left handed for them. Its nice being ambidextrous but consider my self more of a lefty lol

Here, obviously Daffy is playing his 1 string banjo right handed, but 2 days ago Daisy achieved same result using her left.
Dunno if that helps, but ya gotta love Daffy.

If 6 was 9 , we 'd know if his strings were upside down or reversed. Don't know bout EBGB's.:rolleyes:
