Those are 1930's models.

I see it says "WWII" in the opening credits, though.

The model prior to the "Pilot House" ran from 1939 to 1947.

I believe the truck filmed in those clips was of my Grand-pop. When ever grand-ma would ring the dinner bell he would waist no time getting back to the house.
 
Can you imagine what a ride that must have been with no seatbelt.

I enjoyed watching how the blocks were made. Production machinery was efficient way back then. Do you think the guys loading the blocks into the mill were tired at the end of the day? Bare block 200 - 300 lbs?

Installing the hardened seats was quick. Arm and Hammer!
