Been in the business, since 91(parts). Anytime ,a person orders a part, trusting the small description in advertising matching the part number. Like ordering a big cam. No one INFORMs you: springs, locks, possibly retainers needed. One of the main reasons,I joined here. Straight known knowledge,no B.S. I learned the hard way,on Mopars.Be patient, ask questions(lots). Share your thoughts.....

a little late but i'll bite, small block mopars i learned the hard way.if you buy hot rod stuff like you ould for a chevy your headed for disaster.a sbc you can generaly get a big cam theow it in and not worry too much about piston to valve clearance, retainer to guide clearance, pushrod to head etc.same for a rat engine.also for a solid cam ,pretty much can use pushrods rockers that came on a mouse or rat.our stuff, you have to change everything involved.i have assembled alot of hotrod type engines, but i really got good after i quit screwin around and got a mopar.i know all makes have theyre own different idiosycracies ,but until this site and advise from guys like rob crackedback it was all new to me...

I farted. I justed wanted to share.
