Is this brass float built right? It seems like the hump on the brass float should face up towards the top plate. I have only ever delt with nitrophyl floats.

Thanks, when I adjust the brass floats, I assume I measure to the top of the hump? High point of the float.

I set mine differently. I use a drill bit under the float to do mine.

3/8th is a good starting point.
