Thinking about going to Mopars In The Park, Worth It?

We have that weekend off of work and would love to go. But we have never been to this show, unfortunately we both have to work the weekend of the Mopar Nationals and Mopars at the strip.

We are about 8 hours away from the Minnesota and would like to take a road trip to a big Mopar show.

What do you guys think? Is it a good show?
 
I don't know if it worth it for you, but considering my in-laws live just a few miles up the road, I guess one these days a vacation is in order with a classic Mopar!
 
Oh man... Oh man... It isn't for a few months and I already cant wait!

Where is a good place to stay? Anywhere I should avoid?
