SO I've been tossing around the idea of forcing my Hemi to breath with an artificial lung. I was going to go Pro-Charger since I already have the brackets But I haven't turboed a 3rd gen yet and I want to see how she would do with 20PSI. So my question becomes should I do a single front mount .75 A/R t3/t4 or a pair of .55 A/R t3/t4 turbo's? I plan on making all of my own stuff for the hot/cold side and running meth instead of an intercooler to keep the engine clutter to a minimum. Any thoughts?

I don't think a stock 5.7 bottom end will handle 20PSI.

Oh it wont be a stock bottom end I'm going all forged with main studs and head studs with lock wires head gaskets.

Stock bottom end 5.7 can handle about 8 psi with a really good tune 10 psi for a short time with a perfect tune. The fuel system need to be upgraded to handle boost and since I will be starting with a blank page for a fuel system I can build it around whatever I build.

Cool, build me one while your at it.......

If you have the money, go for twins. Waiting on boost??? Pshhh, thats where twins come in. A single turbo has the advantage on being cheaper, easier to set up, but it make take a lil to spool up and your boost will be limited to what that one turbo can put out compared to two slightly smaller, faster spooling turbos.

do twins. What power level are you looking to reach? I want to do twins on a 370 stroker. Shooting for 1400hp. But that is down the road. I would think that 20psi would get you close to that. And should make for a low 8 sec ride. And if done right it could be a street legal car as well. I would think about an air to water intercooler though, if you want it on the street. My only hold up is the cost. If I had a running and driving car already it would be getting twins right now. The other option is a single and a small shot of nitrous to spool it up. A nice 80mm and a 75 shot should do it....

man the posibilitys are endless......good luck man let me know what you decide.

I was going to shoot for 850 at the tires with the boost cranked but 5-6 hundred for daily use that's why I wanted to keep the turbos small

Wow, two great problem to have....a hemi and a turbo....wow, how cool is that?

I'd like to do a supercharger my darn self.

go with a T60 then just install a fart can between it and the motor and let the hemi fart and spool it up. LOL.
