Just got a JEGS throttle cable bracket for a Mopar throttle cable and am trying to figure out how to get the cable into the clamp thing. Bracket looks like this:

Cable looks like this:

Can't just push it through because of the pin part at the end of the cable:

And the slit in the bracket only seems like it's big enough for the little metal cable to go through and not the sleeve closest to the clamp. Is there a way to take off the sleeve or is this cable just not going to work? Any suggestions would be great! Don't really want to buy a new throttle cable. Thanks

Pt # is 555-15234. I'll try to pull the cable out and do it that way as described and see if that works for me. I'll keep ya'll updated

Finally sunny out today, worked great! Just had to strip the sleeve on the cable so when i extended it there was the cable and not sleeve exposed. On there and working great now though. Thanks!
