Pretty much '64-6 A-body V8 only if it's a stock setup. Sometimes you can get another year and model to work, especially if you're working with an aftermarket intake and/or carb.

any idea what the total length of my cable would be?my car's in storage and I can't get to it.

The cable from the center of the eye on the carb end, to the ball of the pedal end is about 18 1/2". The housing is about 12" from firewall to the carb end, not counting the plastic guide tube on the carb end.
