throttle valve adjustments

I finally found a transmission for my 440 but not sure how to hook up the throttle valve linkage. The guy I got it from had it rigged up. Here's a few pictures of my carb what do I need to hook the throttle valve up. I know im not supposed to use a bolt. Does anyone else have pictures of how to hook it up to a holley carburetor.

You are missing the throttle lever extension bracket that bolts to the carb, Holey p/n 20-7. There is also a special stud for that, I think Holley can supply that too if you don't have the Mopar one. This is what the factory linkage looks like:

It will look almost exactly like figure 17 above, if you get the throttle lever extension and special stud for the carb. It'll never work hooked up to the hacked up throttle lever you have now. The top of that slotted rod needs to moved way up, and rearward, almost touching the air cleaner. Holley's throttle lever extension bracket will get all the geometry lined up the way it is supposed to be.
