Tie rod exchange

I'm Looking for information on exchanging tie rod ends inner and outer tie rod ends on 65 darts with a C body or perhaps a B body for a heavier thicker stronger rod.
 
Go get the C body set. Not much else to say on the topic.
 
Your best best would be to buy a set of solid tie rod adjusting sleeves. Most of the flex in the original split tube adjusting sleeve design in in the split tubes. Now, if you want it to look stock at a glance going to the 11/16" tie rods and adjusting sleeves will improve things.

But, even going to a set of 9/16" solid sleeves will get rid of the flex. The weak point isn't the tie rod ends, it's the sleeves. Not that you couldn't go to 11/16" solid sleeves if you really wanted to go big. I run 9/16" on most of my cars though with solid sleeves, and I run 275/35/18's on the front of my car.

They make them in aluminum as well if you're worried about weight, they're $59 instead of $49.
 
11/16" tie rods ends have double the bending resistance of 9/16" tie rod ends according to Andy Finkbeiner. It a great upgrade, especially if you are using wider front tires!!!

That's neat an all, but what I'm telling you is that I have over 70k miles of street driving between my Challenger and my Duster with 9/16" tie rods using solid adjusting sleeves with 275mm wide front tires with modern tire compounds, and I have yet to damage a set of tie rod ends.

The 11/16" tie rod ends are stronger for sure, but you're biggest gains in terms of flex in the steering system are from ditching the split sleeve adjusting tubes.
