After converting my '71 Dart Swinger to disc brake with FMJ knuckles and Proforged solid aluminum tie rod sleeves, it seems like there is a lot of thread showing on the tie rod ends. I know the conversion pushes the wheel mounting surface out about .937 or 15/16th per side. I assumed the width is gained in the rotor/hub/spindle assembly, not in the location of the outer tie rod end. Is the original drag link different from a '73+ disc brake equipped car?
After replacing some parts of the front end, the toe in was about the same in the first two pictures, with a lot more thread showing than I feel comfortable with.
Picture of the car in question.
Edited for clarification.
