what needs to be done to a factory timing cover and water pump when using an engine mounting plate. (picture is an example) would it be simplier to use a flat plate and just open up the holes for an electric water pump? are covers and water pumps sold already modified? Thanks! Bob

I had a machinist friends mill my timing cover down 1/4 inch on the front side to accommodate the thickness of my front plate and keep the water pump the correct distance. Not sure if this is needed or not just what I did.
