Timing

Hello all,
I was just wondering what degrees of timing you racers run.
base and total,,,,,and do you run with vacuum advance?
I have a 360,xe-268 cam,edelbrock heads,about 10.5 cr.

My combo is about the same as yours and i'm running a MSD mech. adv. dist. that is set at 36 degrees and it all comes in by 2500rpm's

Base 15-18
Total about 34-36 all in by 2500

Vac adv disconnected and plugged.

thanks for the replies,,,,,I wanted to make sure im not too far out of the park,right now i have it set at about 18 base,and the mechanical on the dist.brings it up to about 38 total.
