tire size? up or down

I have some very worn Mickeys on my car now and need new rubbler all around. They are in inches, but don't quite jive with me.
26x7.5 /15 would I go with 190s or 205 70 15? Is this right?
The rear has 26x10.5 15s, I can't figure that one out?

A 26 inch tire is super close to exact I beileve to a BFG 235/60/15
Tire size will vary slighty to HOLY CRAP between maufavtures.

If you go to Summit racing, you can get a better idea when you poke around.

1 inch = 26.5 mm so, 10.5 wide x26.5 = 278... go with 275x60 R15s. I can measure a set later this morning (on the back of my 69 barracuda right now). 60 means sidewall is 60% of treadwidth (275mm) or 165mm. so, 2 sidewalls is about 12.4 inches, 15" for the rim, you are about 27.4" tall. If you want shorter, go with 275-50-R15 That will shorten the overall by about 2" and end up being about 25.4" tall. I can also measure a set of 295-50-R15 for you.

remember, that is the "nominal" size... different manufacturers' tires may vary a bit. One thing you can do is go to Les Schwab or some other tire store and let them look at it and they will tell you what size tires you would need to replace what you have. They would probably also roll some out to your car and give you an idea of the different options. I don't have a problem doing that as long as you tell them you are just shopping and trying to figure out how much it will cost. They will print off a price for you with a coupe different options.

I picked up some tires today from a buddy, I got a pair of 215 60 15s and they are to big for the weld racing rim, I think I have the 4 inch rim so they will not fit. I also got some 275 60 15 to try on the rear but I think they will be a bit to close to the rear leafs.
So I will go with 245 or 255 for the rear but what would be good for a 4 inch rim? 195s?

You don't want radials on the front and bias ply on the back. Car may drive weird.
