Hey guys I was wondering whether 205 70R 14 and 225 70R 14 would fit on the front and rear respectively with stock 14 inch wheels.
Gracias

Depends on what width your stock rims are. I believe they came in 14x4.5 and 14x5.5.

The 205’s have a minimum recommended rim width of 5”, and the 225’s have a minimum recommended rim width of 6”. So, check your rim width and see what you’ve got. The tires will clear fine with the stock rim offsets and SBP suspension/brakes, it’s just a matter not squeezing more tire on the rim than you’re supposed to.

On my '71 Swinger I have 215-70R14 tires front and back on the stock 5.5" Rallye wheels. They fit with no rubbing.

Yup, those would be fine on 14x5.5’s. They’re also the widest recommended tires you can run on 5.5” wide rims.

Not that people don’t run 225/70/14’s on those rims, I’m sure some people do. But the tires will be squeezed down a bit to do it, which messes with your tread pattern. And some shops just won’t install tires if the rims aren’t within the recommended specs.
