We must stand behind our veterans, support all there needs, and there families.
Thank you to all of them here and in the world, today there will be a bunch in my area getting fed, clothed and supported by our city's restaurants, clothing stores and if the city does it again today a free truck to a member, yes! We love our local vets.

Our Denny's restaurants out here in California are offering their Grand Slam breakfast, to all military veterans today.
Took them up on the offer.
Did my mile walk over there this morning.
USAF from 1973-1980.
Jet aircraft mechanic, flight line crew chief, on the RF-4C Phantom's.

Thanks to all on here who served. We all owe you a debt of gratitude. Here's the ship Daddy served on in the US Navy. DE742, the USS Hilbert.

THANKS TO ALL OF THE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN WHO SERVED SO THAT WE ALL CAN ENJOY OUR FREEDOM. OUR MILITARY FOLKS ARE AS SPECIAL AS CAN BE. THANKS AGAIN.

To all vets living and dead in Canada and the USA, THANK YOU for your service and for what you have done for myself and our countries.

I stopped at Dunkin' Donuts this morning for a Midnight. At the drive-up order menu they have a sign up.
IF YOU'RE A VETERAN SHOW US YOUR ID
WE HAVE FREE GOODIES FOR YOU

 :D:usflag:

Last weekend our church put on our 4th annual "welcome home" veterans day banquet

It is open to all who served

We started it with 40 or so attendees and this is our 3rd venue because we keep outgrowing them

I believe there were 342 vets in attendance this time, including 4 world war two vets and one Gold Star Family

My daughter got to present a plaque to one of the WWII vets

Pretty impressive

Tons of freebies and discounts available to Vets yesterday.
The only one I took advantage of was at In-N-Out Burgers. Free any burger, any fries and any drink from their menu. Nice addition, they also passed out the following decals to Vets that even had a special message on the back side.
Classy touch.
