Too dumb for service manuals

I purchased the service manual for my 1974 Duster. However, the manual refers to vehicle designations V-L, B-J, R-W, P-D, and C-Y. I can't locate a legend or key to permit me to figure out which one of these my Duster belongs. Any help pointing out my inability to read the manual would be greatly appreciated.

V-L would represent your car

To explain further, look in the first few pages of your manual. L is the first letter of a VIN for Dart, V is Valiant/ Duster. So V-L is A body

I have a print of a 74 manual, so if you run into trouble, just ask. Is your manual on CD or print? If you have a CD, I'd love to have a copy of it for my library.
