505 stroker with Edelbrock Torker II and then made a change to an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. Then Torker II w/ 2" spacer.

guess that `s why they call it a tweener manifold. might as well run a victor (as far as carb heighth) by the time you run a spacer. would be interested in what a victor would compare on the exact same set-up. good stuff! thanks for the info!---bob

Should time permit, I have the ported RPM, ported Torker II, ported Torker II w/spacer, OOTB Victor, OOTB Victor w/spacer, plenum blended Victor, plenum blended Victor w/spacer, plenum ported Victor and plenum ported Victor w/spacer. All this on a pump gas 496.

I LOVE all the numbers and info you post. It's super helpful to people like me that have an idea what I want but am not sure how to achieve that goal. Keep it coming!

Kind of surprised to see the drop in HP at lower RPMs with the 2 inch spacer. I'm using the Torker II myself though I wouldn't mind seeing you try the Holley Street dominator if you happen across one.

Anyway, thank you for all the data you provide, I follow your builds closely.

My experience with 440's has been the perf rpm likes a 1" spacer. Mine made 10more hp and 12 more ft/lbs after install. It was a hvh sis spacer. On my current 440 it seemed to help the mid and top end and pulls to red line smoother and quicker.

I am building a new 440 for the street and the Performer RPM is in my plans, I want the motor/power peaked at around 5,000-5,500 ish. I have a 1 inch spacer and can never remember which to use with a dual plane, 4 hole or single hole, think mine is a 4 hole so will try it with the spacer then. Will be selling my Weiand Team G as soon as I get the new RPM in my hands.

The one I used with success was a 4 hole.
