I am installing an aftermarket torque strap.
The kit is basically a solid bar the bolts the engine to the drivers side engine dept. solidly// I used to use a chain with a just a little tension.
I never sprung for a professional Strap. Seems like the car(front end) will shake qiut a bit with the solid anchor?
Is this type of torque strap correct?
I have rubber motor mounts now-never done a burn out but thinking about it
496
mild build
727 man valve

It will resonate engine vibration to the car. It's meant for racers who have their priorities set a little different from the average street driver. With a little imagination and a tape measure anyone could go to their local pick-a-part and select a dog bone engine mount from some front wheel drive application to use there.

Good idea thanks
I broke the motor mounts once and it wasnt fun(what a mess)

I have rip motor mounts in half way to many times, the Schumacher torque strap is a nice part and havs saved a many parts for me in the past, not just the motor mounts. Vibration to the car body was nothing to mention.

Hughes qouted me a nice hyd roller pack for my combo. I think I trust Hughes-Other places will tell you anything to get the sale

I have no idea why your quoted me and then gave that answer, which has nothing to do with my reply unless you say my personal experiance and reply is a lie.
