OK, A while back I posted about what you guys/gals used to remove hard water spots from our vehicles glass......I don't think I recieved more than two responses of which one was "good luck"...well, I have found something that works extremely well, Cerama bryte......I was cleaning our GE glass top range with it when it dawned on me to try it on the windshield of my 72 Duster.......used with the correct scotch brite pad (yellow) I had that 40 year windshield looking like new again! Can't wait to get to the rear & side glass....what a difference! D

A small sample bottle came with our new stove but we purchased a larger bottle at The Home Depot....I'm sure Lowes would have it as well..try it, you will be amazed! Don't use any other scotch brite pad except the yellow one......You have to work at it, circular motions, just like waxing your car, let it dry to a haze then buff off with a clean terry cloth towel.......:) D

I bought some stuff from the auto glass shop, called CRL,Cat#2030,Water Spot Remover.
I have used it for years on my cars, trucks, and boats. Easy stuff to work with.

heres another tip. If you have hard water, when you wash your car, add a little bit of white vinigar to your soap bucket. It helps the water spots from forming on your paint/ glass.

I'm bookmarking this thread, thanks!

0000 steel wool is the best glass and chrome( not stainles or aluminium) cleaner around. Try it you will be amazed at the shine you will get.

0000 is = to a brown paper bag. I use it after clear coating on furniture.
