I need to vent an enclosed trailer due to condensation. Leaving the roof vents open will allow driving rain and melting snow build up in. I was thinking about a couple of 4" midget louvers in the rear floor and a front side wall louver with a small muffin fan, running all the time while the trailer is stored at home. Let me know if anybody has been down this road.

Go to an RV store and purchase vent covers. I believe they were made by MaxxAir. They allow you to leave them open without fear of water leaking in. I have put them on all the campers we have had and have never had any problems.

Once you get the covers, put a couple of tubs of "Damp-rid" in the trailer and follow the directions about changing it out.
