I think this would be a good place to post this. I've always just re used my lines, and if a piece of rubber needed to be spliced in, so be it. I'm considering getting some of those pre bent ones. Are they pricey? (1976 duster with a 727).

Yeah the professionally formed lines would be nice. Just as easily damaged as OEM too. LOL
I make my own steel lines with new materials from autozone and jacket them with neoprene tubing. Better than the original ? I didn't say that.

Can you get the lines with th end flares? I don't mind bending them, I just didn't want to flare my own ends, and risk a leak after everything was assembled.

For the difference in price, I think it is worth going with -8AN steel braided lines. Very easy to hook up, leak free, you can run them wherever you want and you get the added wow factor under the hood. It is one of my winter projects.

yes. I buy their steel brake lines , cut them in half, install my fittings and work both ends toward the middle. Once I'm happy with the routing I cut off any excess and connect with compression unions. Space the unions 2 inches apart to provide wrench room. The unions and end fitting are only portions not covered by fuel line tubing.

I spent the cash on pre-bent Stainless steel lines from fine lines. For me, it was worth it simply because it was OOTB and into the car, DONE!

It beat laying on my back and bending it myself, which I have done a million times. To customize them slightly is easy. A cut and flare for an extra cooler is easy.

I got my stainless lines from gastanks.com along with their 3/8" stainless fuel line, and tank..nice stuff...

I bought pre bent lines for the Scamp and they worked great. I hate bending and flairing lines.
