Joined Jul 10, 2006 Messages 231 Reaction score 0 Location 50 Miles from the middle Mar 23, 2009 #2 I cant speak for anything older than my '74 Duster but when I swapped in my 440/727 I used the original transmission crossmember (That I re-welded and re-enforced) with a poly transmission mount. No big modifications were needed.
