Trans Brake Help ?

I was told that this is the trans barke connector on my 727 . I have never seen or used this type before. Have you ever seen or used this type of set up or is this not a connector for a trans brake . I ran power to it with a button but no selonid sound or any action at all . I did not open it up but I was told it was all hooked up .

looks like the hook up for a turbo action brake.

that is a turbo action connector i have one of those on mine,you might not be able to hear the solenoid,if your intrested you have a transbrake,pull the pan and see where that wire goes

Thanks it is a Turo Action . But I still cant get to work. I will have to drop the pan and check it out

correct you will not hear the solenoid engage or release...it will only work in 1st gear....

i dont believe the TA brake needs to be engaged to use reverse as some of the other brands do...

the solenoid might be stuck,once you get the pan off,try its not a loud noise,if theres a wire going to a soleinod u have one,that solenoid might be on top of the valve body
