Trans kickdown linkage (2bl-4bl)

I might have this in the wrong thread, move it if I do.
On a 2 bl to 4 bl swap. The only difference between the linkage is the top rod? I think I remember previously, a friend just made the slot longer and the linkage worked. This is small block I'm talking about. The Cordoba won't sell, so I'm thinking of dropping a carb than maybe headers on it. Anyone have a pic of how they modified thiers? I've got the stock '75 360 2 bl kick down stuff, and it works fine right now.

For the three piece kickdowns the upper rod is different and the throttle cable mounting bracket is different as well. I think there are throttle cable brackets being repopped now, not sure about the upper rod though, you could weld together some pieces to get the rod to the Right length and shape if you have too, did this years ago and it worked fine.

im doing similar, a 2bbl to 4bbl, but i have a one piece rod that is used for my kickdown, do i have to convert it to the 3 bar style? and where can i get them again, i dont remember
