Paradise CA,
so i have a 1973 dodge dart swinger, 318 ci and 904 auto transmission the tranny shop just did a complete rebuild, but i have a problem with the shift linkage. I only get 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 3rd no matter where i adjust the kick down i run into this problem. Everthing is new in the transmission, pump, valves, clutches, new pro-am shift kit, need help

They installed the wrong **** lever on the trans or forgot the plasic bushing. How many trans shops do you think have parts for these cars . Did you actually get your trans back with the same levers . Check the serial number on the pan rail it should match the last 5 on the dash.

I'm a bit confused. Problem in shifter linkage or throttle pressure linkage/adjustment.
There is a proceedure for setting up the throttle pressure linkage detailed in service manuals.

Could the problem be in the way the trans was built?

Well I checked all the stuff everyone talked about still no luck but the shop is going to take it all apart and start over.
