transmission numbers?

i found these numbers written down on a piece of paper in the garage. i think they are the numbers off the side of the tranny, but i don't remember. if they are, what do they mean?

You should have a two letter code before the serial number:

PP= new process
PK=Kokomo plant
Your 7 digit serial 2822963 does not match any thing in the book,recheck it.
Next four digits is the build date:you have Five,why?recheck.If tis 5815 its 6/29/1977 the date of the build.
3603 is the sequence number of units for that day.That tranny was the 3606 unit built that day.

cool...it may not even be from the tranny, but i think it is...i'll check it when i get a chance.
