Transbrakes?

yes..i have two of them in use...

Have had one since 1993 and is still in use today in 69 Barracuda..and have another for about 4 or 5 yrs in 71 Dart...

both trans are 904....

I will probably buy another later this year for another car....

Mine are both the Pro Brake style were you have to the transbrake button to back up...

thanks for the reply ,but im looking into his street and strip tranny becuse i run the street mostly.

joe is a real nice guy --but i had a big problem with their transbrake. it never worked right for over 2 months --their customer service is awful because they never answer the phone. he had me try this and that--i even pulled the trans out and had my guy go thru the entire thing--trans was fine.

i finally got him to agree there was something wrong with the part and sent it back-- it was cracked inside.

so he sent me a new one and i sold it and bought a Turbo action . No problems since.

I'd call Rick at A&A transmission for help with a street strip trans. They always answer the phone and are great to deal with. Tell them Tom Russian recomended them. Have been using Ricks trans since 1993 with zero problems.

I don’t know too much about them other than their prices make you think you are buy parts for a Chevy…1050$ for a race prepped 727 with a tranz brake…that is CHEAP!!!:happy2:

will tell yous how it works got one for the big block and know just orderd one for the small block 426 should give her a good work out ha ha and see how strong they are.

I called them this week to ask about his tranny's and valve bodies. Seems to be very knowledgable and helpful.
