TrickFlow 190 flow testing

-
Thanks for the vid, have you made any progress on your TF 190's ? How do you feel about that vane ?

Weingartner has some good videos with some big block Mopar heads in the mix. It would be interesting to see what he could do with some W5 castings.

I watch some of his videos while I am working. He fully explains he has very little Mopar experience. I am not knocking him, but I would assume someone with more hands on experience with W5 castings would know where the areas are that are likely to get into water. So maybe Eric would be more conservative, unless you send him a sacrificial head as well.

Just thoughts though. I have no experience on this matter.

I haven’t seen him port a Mopar head yet just checking them out and flow testing them. He has a big block Mopar TrickFlow head on Facebook but it didn’t interest me enough to watch it.

Here is the BB head... tiny ports but decent chamber..

W5's are so paper thin, nobody can do much with them honestly...they are a very good design from a power stand point, but executed poorly so no matter who works them over, you're constantly fighting water everywhere in those castings...

I haven’t touched mine in many months.
I finally did some work to a set a few months ago, and without comparing before and after dyno #'s it's tough to say if the work I did indeed helped, but we beat our goal on a pump gas 408 making 550HP with a hyd roller cam...we made 567. I'm doing another build just like it with a couple of different tweaks to make an honest 575HP with hyd roller cam and under 11:1 compression.

They screwed me up real bad with the seats they used. No room to really grow.

Hope you are able to post the results.
