Im getting ready to install the rear trim around the rear window. The new clips I bought do not seem to hold the trim tight enough. When I compare some of the clips to some of the other clips they are not as tight to the body to pinch and hold the trim tight. Here are some pics to help explain. The frst pic you can see its sitting off the body
Again you can see its off the body
On this pic you can see Ive put a small piece of wood behind the clip and it pushes the clip tight. You cant get to the clips to remove them with the back window in. If I have to replace the clips I have to remove the rear window again. These are new clips! Was wondering if i should make some metal shims to push the clips tight or do I have to again remove the window and bend the clips to fit better? Help! I really dont want to remove the window again.
Also thats not a scratch on the last pic its dirt!!
Thanks for any help you can throw my way
