Trim rings on Cragar SS???

I have an old set of Cragar SS's on my car right now that have some wear. I have been toying with the idea of spraying them charcoal gray and putting a set of stainless trim rings on them with the chrome SS centers. Anyone have any thoughts on this? My only concern is finding the trim rings with the same valve stem placement as the Cragars.

i dont think they have the lip like he steel wheels do for the "fingers" to hold onto...
