What is the best tool/way for sanding the trunk gutters? Im at that point so i thought i would ask. Hoping its not by hand! Lol

I used a gunk remover to get the part of the weather stripping adhesive that was stuck in the channel. I have seen people use a wire brush on a drill or different type things. I just used an 80 grit sandpaper and did mine by hand. I followed the 80 frit with a 220 to smooth it out before shooting my primer. Such a small area, wasn't to bad to do by hand. Good luck

I used wire wheels on a drill and finished with paper. Certain amount of hand work that cant be avoided.

I used a wire wheel then sand paper as George stated

I also use a long nose die grinder/ porting tool and cartridge rolls

I find a child around the age of 8-11 with sanding blocks and paper works best. The tricky part is providing the necessary motivation.

Wire wheel & small sanding block When you get it all sanded & primed don't forget to put some seem sealer on the seams if needed

course scotch bright pad or course steel wool, will blend to contours, rub by hand

I use a angel die grinder with 2 inch 3m sanding disc Scotch Brite discs

I usually keep a couple of cut down foam/rubber sanding blocks in sizes that fit smaller areas.
Makes it a little easier getting into the corners

Wire wheel (radial bristles) on a hand drill, then sandpaper. Best to do it outside. When I have used a wire wheel inside the garage, the broken wires fly everywhere and get stuck in the carpet, to later penetrate bare feet. Definitely wear a safety shield.
