I'm relocating the battery to the trunk in my Duster and want to use a Ford type solenoid set-up but i have no idea how it gets wired, i have seen other cars with this set-up so i know it can be done.

Can anyone tell me how to wire it up or have a wiring diagram of how to do it?

Wiring on a Ford Solenoid, One large post goes to + on the battery, the other large post goes up to the starter. (where the large wire is now).

there are 2 small posts on the solenoid, the one marked "S" goes to the start position on the key switch (same wire that activates your Mopar solenoid).

The one marked "I" sends full 12 v to the coil side of your ballast resistor when "S" is activated. You probably don't need that "I" wire if you are leaving the rest of your Mopar wiring harness intact. And, last but not least, the solenoid needs to be grounded...
