I'm trying to get into the genIII hemi. I found a 2005 jeep grand Cherokee for a good price. Can I use the ecm and harness from the jeep without using aftermarket parts? If not please let me know what I will need to get the engine running. Want to put it in my 88 power ram to replace the old 318. Thanks for any help with this venture. Clint.

STAND ALONE CONVERSION
I have heard of anyone using the Jeep harness, but that probably means nothing. The link above has some good information. There is a Facebook page that has tons of information, but I don’t do Facebook anymore, if you do, do a search for Gen III swaps.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I have a lot to learn before I try anything. Will be doing my homework.
