Any good suggestions regarding affordable "under the hood" tune up tachometers?

Don't ask me... my garage is empty
is it for setting the carb mixture? if so just use a vacuum gauge. if for the idle speed, see if a friend has a sears dwell meter. it has a tach on it.

Its almost done!
I used a cheap $25 sunpro tach I got from O'Reiley's which I bolted on top of my timing light.
