Alright i'v got a 383 out of a 79 Fury that i'm in the process of rebuildin from the crank up, now i want to try an turbocharge it considering i'v never seen it done, i'v seen 350's an v6 international's but never a mopar big/small block, so i figured it's worth a shot. So far i'v done some research an talked to the guys at Summit an Rouch an they all say the same thing, if i simply get a stroker kit with Eagle rod's i should be able to hold atleast 20 - 30 PSI an 40 max. I'v already got an innercooler of a 03 F250 desiel i'm in the process of designin the headers. Now the big part, i'v got a 99 Durango ( my baby ) with a 360 in it, i'm hopfully going to swap the 383 in an put the 360 in the fury. Now the main question is.. what do u guys think about the idea of a Big block mopar Spoolin TT's an runnin a 200 shot of nitro ?

Comment's good an bad are welcome

Sounds like a good idea to me, but I hang out with guys who run 8's at the track on the weekend and drive the same car to get grocery's during the week. Really dont 'need' a stroker crank but if you're going to get a new forged one then why not get a stroke off it. With that boost and a 200 I'd say your weak point will be the tranny; time for a 2 speed.

I think you're yakkin'...lol.
You should be building a 400 block, not a 383. And, are you sure you dont mean a 318 from a diplomat? That will sort of attach where the Magnum in the Durango is. Twin turbo on an LA wont survive 15psi, much less 20+. The block cant take it. You need an R block to start with. NOS and a turbo? I'd suggest buying a complete package deal, including tuning and setup. Then you wont be yakkin', you'll be stylin' ;)
