Buddy had an 1835 turbo, wicked fast. Muscle car couldnt touch it for the first 1/8. Neat cars.

Its a great way to daily drive an old car and not get stuck in a honda civic

No way can I buy your car (FL-CA, etc...), but I'd like to see the engine and hear about the turbo setup.
My uncle had a 57 transporter with every available option except rag top, pop-up or roof windows, and he had a beetle that was what ever the last year was for semafore turnsignals 63/64??

The engine is a stock rebuild with a custom header and a China t-3 turbo I modified the stock carb for boost and locked the distributor at 16 degrees, Not sure how much power, I would guess about 100-110 HP roughly double stock though.

Just added electronic ignition, Works very well 12 pounds of boost and no problems

A little over 100 HP at 5 psi, It does really good at 8-10 but it runs out of fuel pump on long pulls.
